My new obsession with Nili Lotan

I recently discovered the brand Nili Lotan while scrolling through Pinterest the other day, and I can’t get enough. Picture a more refined, designer-quality, and better selection of an H&M, and that’s the way I would describe this clothing brand.

Since graduating, I have been trying to invest in nicer staple items that I know will be timeless and can build a strong wardrobe. With Nili Lotan, I don’t think I need to look any further, or maybe I do with the retail price point and a post-grad salary…. Anyways.

Lotan believes that clothing should be an extension of oneself, but also look clean, sophisticated, and functional. I love this motto and believe the clothes express that clearly.

Although her clothing is higher-end thus comes with a higher price tag, these items will stay in your closet for years to come. And I truly believe the price per wear would be worth it, given their timeless appeal.

Plus, since Nili Lotan use materials like wool and cashmere, and professional leather, it’s the perfect pieces to wear during the colder months to layer or not!

Take this Cashmere sweater, for instance. This buildable sweater could be passed down generations and still be beautifully kept if treated right. So elegant so chic.

Now I’ll shut up and let the clothes speak for themselves.

$1,090. Tomaso Cashmere Sweater

$2,900. Sanura Leather Coat

$750. Rivers Wool Pants

$2,990. Elan Shearling Jacket

Now I know what your thinking…

Rebekah… I’m not spending half or my entire paycheck on a clothing item. Totally fair, and I understand. Lucky for you and me, theres two options to go around that price point.

Option A:

The brand has a sale section on their website where a lot if most, of the clothing items are cut a pretty amount.

$294 originally $420. Alla Silk Halterneck Top

$665 originally $950. Trisha Cashmere Sweater

$3,430 originally $4,900. Capuchine Shearling Jacket

I know the price tag here is still in the high range, so here’s Option B.

Option B:

There are recyclable items of hers that I might be more obsessed with than her current pieces. Strong words. I also can’t believe I’m not gatekeeping these.

$104.99. Ivory Blazer

$66.99. Black Pullover Sweater

$50.99. Low-Waisted Grey Khakis

The one thing you need to know..

Is that a product of Nili Lotan means quality. All the products I have seen of hers are never polyester or any of the cheap materials. Obviously, with the price, you should expect that. But I do really think it gives elevated H&M. Maybe even a mix of an… elevated… Aritzia? Ish?

Do I believe that this is the most interesting designer I’ve ever seen? No. But I think the brand has a good idea on how to create luxurious basics. And it works.

Lotan worked at Ralph Lauren, Nautica, and Liz Claiborne, meaning she’s had the experience. She started her brand in 2003, and it has stayed in business for a reason.

I know this company isn’t the only higher-quality place where you could buy the basics, but I came across her clothing and went down a rabbit hole. I just thought that I would share the love, and if you enjoy them, I’m glad I did my duty. If you don’t or have any other recommendation, please let me know. I’m open to hear and would love to scroll endlessly through more brands. I’m not joking. <3.
